1. What is Finding The Way, and who do you help?

Finding The Way Publications, Inc. is a non-profit restorative justice organization dedicated to supporting system-impacted individuals, their families, and victims of crime. We offer a range of services including program guides, one-on-one counseling, and group sessions to promote recovery, facilitate successful reentry, and foster positive, lasting change in the lives of those we serve.

2. How do the programs work?

Whether individuals participate in-person or through the mail, our programs are designed to encourage self-reflection and growth through structured materials that include folders with readings and guided questions. Participants work at their own pace, and upon completion, they receive a certificate of achievement.

3. Where are your programs offered?

Our in-person programs are offered in correctional facilities throughout Los Angeles,Ventura, Santa Barbara, and other counties in California, led by chaplains and volunteers. In addition, FTW offers services through mail to individuals outside of these regions and even across the country. Folders for each program can be found and downloaded under Program Index.

4. How can I support your mission?

Contributions are always welcome and greatly appreciated. They are tax-deductible. Every donation helps us expand our reach and continue offering programs to those in need. Please visit the Donation page for details.

5. Are the programs faith-based?

While our programs incorporate aspects of faith and spirituality for those who seek it, they are not intended as exhortations, or mini sermons. Each program is designed to create a welcoming, supportive environment for all participants, regardless of their beliefs or backgrounds.

7. Is there a cost for system-impacted individuals to participate in the programs?

Our programs are offered at no cost to participants, ensuring everyone has access to the resources and support they need to transform their lives.
